Butterfly tattoos are pretty popular among women, but I have seen a few pictures of men with butterfly tattoos. There are so many different designs that you can choose from and so many different ideas that you can run with, that your options of how you want your butterfly tattoo to look are near limitless.

Common butterfly tattoos can include single or multiple butterflies surrounded by flowers or tribal designs. You'll also find actual tribal butterflies.

Popular placements for butterfly tattoos include on feet, lower back (tramp stamp), arms, chest, mid- or upper- back, side, and leg.
