Corset Piercing

One of the more popular surface piercing is the corset piercing which is essentially a series of surface piercings that give the appearance of the hooks of a corset. The corset piercing is a temporary piercing, especially since 97% of piercers who have ever performed a corset piercing have done it wrong.
Most of the people who get a corset piercing want to put lace through the piercing so th create the full corset appearance. Well, this is why it's typically always done wrong. The piercer will generally use CBRs, which is by far the worse piece of jewelry that can be used in a surface piercing. Then the lace is strung through the jewelry right after piercing, which again is bad because it irritates the already irritated tissues.
I just think it's so funny when people think that surface piercings are permanent. They go in and spend a good bit of money, and in a month or so find they have to remove all the jewelry.
If you go in knowing that the piercing will be temporary then there's no reason why you can't use the CBRs and go out to your event or take your picture and then remove the jewelry, but never expect a surface piercing done with CBRs to be permanent.
If you want your corset piercing to be near permanent, you will want to make sure that the piercer uses surface barbells with a slave ending so that when healed, you can lace the jewelry.
Another tip if you are really trying to make the piercing permanent, is to get just one or two sets done at a time. If you go in and get say 8 to 12 sets of piercings at once, the likelihood of healing is slim because you're putting a great deal of stress on your body and tissues all at once.
Most corset piercings are don on the person's back, but I have seen them on sides and arms, as well.
