Pictures of Cheek Piercings

June 17th 2009 23:32
Although, I personally have never been a big fan of facial piercings, I will admit there are some cute ones. Buit, I don't necessarily think that cheek piercings are that attractive. Essentially, they're to create dimples. Like the monroe piercings, it's a cute idea, but it just doesn't work for everyone.

Check out these pictures of cheek piercings and see for yourself. Let me know what you think.

If you want the piercing, for the most part aftercare and healing is pretty simple. You'll swich your mouth with alcohol-FREE mouth wash after each meal or snack. Saliva is a great cleaner and healing agent; well not salive but the enzymes in it.

Guys can sport cheek piercings too

i think the only one it really worked for was the first girl on the list -- it wasn't too obtrusive like the others

They're called dahlia's, not headlights, but yes, they're not cheek piercings, exaclty

I LOVE cheek piercings. I think the last girl pulls them off best. Can't wait until I get mine!

they are placed wrong on all of these except #1,3 and 4. All the rest are too low on the cheek, and the last guy doesn't have cheek piercings.

People should look at Pixie Acia and Nafrayou as examples of cheek piercings, suit both girls amazingly.

Favourite piercing of mine, swelled up like a puff a fish at first but well worth it.

And placement depends on if the persons natural placement of dimples when you smile, otherwise you'd look a slight idiot.

I think cheek piercings are kinda like nostril piercings--they look good on almost everyone, depending on the jewelry.

I just got my cheeks done a couple days ago. I love them! But my face is too sore to smile. That's the only downside right now.

i think that the only person who pulled em off was the first chick,, she didnt have all that pointless shit all over her face. nd like me she has thick cheeks so it works

Just saying, I'm not sure if it was previously stated, but the guy seems to had a daliah piercing (outer corner of your lips) not his cheeks done.

How much do they cost to get them?

The price will vary per the piercer that you go to. Call around your local tattoo shops to get an estimate.

The price will vary on the shop. Age- the person should be old enough to make the decision on their own without needing parent permission. Fully grown, is also a good idea, as the body changes, which can cause problems with piercings. Face, typically isn't quite as bad.

cheek piercings and dimple piercings are the same.

not that I've ever heard. Even if there was, it'd be the same piercing.

It's still technically a cheek piercing. All piercings on the ear are ear piercings, although each have their own name and placement.

That doesn't make sense...if we go with that, then that would mean all piercings on the face are the same, which is obviously not true. This guy does not have his cheeks pierced, a cheek is a cheek and a lip is a lip...he has the outside corners of his lips pierced, which is a dahlia piercing. If you get snakebites or you get your actual lip pierced, they are both considered "lip" piercings due to the fact that they are both on your...lip. If you didn't have your lobes pierced but had an industrial bar, would you say you have your ear pierced? No...that would imply that your lobes are pierced. Thats why they all have different names...

I posted "cheek piercings." I have a post on "ear piercing picture," and I have more than just lobes or just industrials. I have pictures of different types and locations of ear piercings. Although they have different names, they're still ear piercings.

If I wanted to specify picures of just dahlia piercings, I would have, but in order to show cheek piercings, one must include piercings on the cheeks, which does include dahlia piercings.

When I posted a blog post about ear piercings, ear is not specific to any one piercing. Ear is anywhere on the ear, whether that is the tragus, daith, lobe, an orbital, industrial, etc.

I have my cheeks pierced, and i love it.. if you get it done, please make sure the tat/piercing person knows what they are doing, and that they have done it before.. i had em pierced last yr around this time.. by someone who didnt know what he was doing, i was the 1st person he did it to.. so he didnt do it right at all, and i had to take them out.., he got them too far back, right by my jaw, to high up. so the inside was against my gums, he didnt put a long enough bar to allow for swelling or healing.. he didnt use a flashlight like youre supposed to, to find nerves & veins, to make sure u miss them.. so needless to say, it was too tight, and in the wrong spot that it hurt so bad, and it went right thru nerves and veins so i bled alot and it got really infected.. i got it repierced 2 days ago, by some people who have done it before and knew what they were doing, and were careful.. and i cant even feel it, it doesnt hurt or anything.. its working out perfectly., they put long bars in, to allow for swelling, then 2 days later i went back and got shorter bars in, but not too tight . it fits perfectly.. i cant feel anything. theres so much difference in feeling compared to before.. bc i can actually eat, i can sleep and even lay on it, and it doesnt bother me, whereas before when i had it done, i couldnt eat, or even open my mouth bc how bad it hurt.. Dont be afraid to ask if theyve done it before.. bc if they havent.. they might mess up. its best to find someone whos done it before.. and find someone whos patient, whos not just going to stick the needle in.. you need someone whos gonna take the time to find where it should be, make sure its even, make sure they can actually pierce there and not hit stuff.. as for price.. cheek piercings usually run 75-125... first guy who did it, charged 75. 2nd ppl i got that did it.. charged 100. but they put long bars in first, then put in smaller bars in 2days time.. and gave me another set of smaller bars, for when the swellinng goes down more.. for just a total of 100.. if your cheek piercing is really uncomfortable, that you cant handle it.. or that you cant eat.. its done wrong, or your body is rejecting it..

Just lettin yall know!

No. One or two, they're very cute.

I only had one dimple so I pierced the side without a dimple. It doesn't look weird at all and I get tons of compliments on it. In the end though, like most things, it comes down to a matter of personal opinion.
